Here’s How Weed Influencers are Shaking Up the Industry

Marijuana smoker

The world of cannabis can be complex and fascinating all at the same time. Especially for someone who doesn’t know about much cannabis, to begin with.

Things like cannabinoids, terpenes, and other weed components can seem like the equivalent to rocket science.

The cannabis movement is at a time where this type of knowledge is key and fundamental in moving it out of the illegal shadows and into the light of the legal realm.

Pot legalization is this generation’s prohibition and it’s is affecting people’s rights and choices to have access to alternative remedies such as medical marijuana.

This movement had led to many passionate and hardworking cannabis advocates and influencers entering and expanding the industry and community.

These advocates which are made up of entrepreneurs, lawyers, growers, educators, influencers, and more are working together to create a better tomorrow for the landscape of pot.

There are well-known advocates like Steve DeAngelo who operates The Last Prisoner Project, Javier Hasse at Benzinga, and Cheryl Shuman who owns of Beverly Hills Cannabis Club just to name a few who are moving the industry forward.

Weed Influencers

Thanks to these advocates for pushing the message forward and changing the stigma of cannabis like these advocates, weed Influencers pushing this message too.

With over 30 thousand followers combined on both social channels, Tim is no stranger to the ups and downs that both weed influencers and pot companies face regularly.

Tim had a thriving YouTube channel before the one he operates on now and was shut down after building a substantial audience. This is not uncommon or unheard of with cannabis YouTube channels.

There have actually been many reports in the past of YouTube shutting down high-profile influencers and company channels for no apparent reason.

Most speculate that certain social media platforms that are not on board yet with the cannabis movement either due to personal or legal reasons, which have restricted the cannabis community.

However, for companies who are respecting legalities in regard to pot laws, it’s understandable and fair. Yet, it just plain sucks that companies have to enforce strict policies even if they don’t agree with the legal status of marijuana nationwide.

Thanks to the cannabis movers and shakers who voice their opinions, we can rest assured that they will continue to help push the industry and community forward.
